Tai Chi at the Library

Start your New Year with a lesson in SUN Tai Chi from Vergennes resident, Lee Francis. An introduction to Tai Chi will be offered at the library every Friday in January at Noon for a half hour. We will focus on Falls Prevention which is an evidence-based program proven to reduce falls by 47 %. Tai Chi has been shown to reduce stress and hypertension plus promote mental clarity and mindfulness.
These half hour lessons will be held in the library lobby, under the beautiful Bixby glass dome. All levels of experience are welcome to join. Please sign up at the library, or contact Laksamee Putnam, firstname.lastname@example.org
If these half hour lessons spark your interest, every Monday and Wednesday morning hour long, Introduction, Beginners II, and Intermediate Tai Chi classes are being held. Check the library calendar for further information.
