3rd Annual Bixby/ BGC LEGO Contest & Exhibit
The Bixby Memorial Free Library and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Vergennes are excited to announce that everyone’s favorite LEGO building competition is back! We are inviting everyone to join in the 3rd Annual LEGO Contest and Exhibit.
Registration is open online through this link; and will be open through February 24th, 2021. We are accepting the first sixty applications: first come, first served. We’ll be looking for creative LEGO, Duplo, Megablox and other LEGO brand compatible constructions and displays. Your displays must be original in design and not based on a themed box or instructions from a LEGO box or website.
Displays should be delivered to the Boys and Girls Club on March 5th, 2021 from 12pm-6pm (20 Armory Lane, Vergennes, VT). They must be pre-built and able to fit through the door of the Club. We’ll need a completed entry form with the name of your construction for your display at the exhibit.
Prizes for creativity will be awarded in the Pre-K, Grades K-2 and 3-5 categories. Prizes for craftsmanship will be awarded in the Grades 6-8 and 9-12 categories. Prizes for adults, Seniors, and Adult/ Child or Mixed Grade teams will be based on creativity and craftmanship. Only one prize will be awarded per team; winners will be notified via phone or email prior to the exhibit on March 6th, 2021.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions! You can reach the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Vergennes by emailing Kat at firstname.lastname@example.org; and you can reach the Bixby Memorial Free Library by emailing Catharine at email@example.com.
