“Tales for a Better World” Storytelling Performance

Friday, November 17 at 7-8pm

Vermont storytelling team Susanna and Joan present a selection of folktales from around the world. By combining their voices and involving the audience the pair brings these wise fairy tales to life. Susanna and Joan both worked as teaching artists for the Flynn Center for the Preforming Arts collaborating on many literature related projects and Joan formerly served as the Ilsley Library’s Children’s Librarian. This performance is suggested for ages 6+.

“Joan and Susanna are master storytellers—artfully weaving imagination and wonder in an experience that immediately hooks young and old alike. This dynamic duo elicits joyful participation in the collective tellings they create.”
-Stacy Raphael, Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, Assoc. Dir. for School Programs
