
Poetry Night with Molly Johnsen and Karin Gottshall

On Thursday, November 6 from 5:30–6:30 PM, local poets Molly Johnsen and Karin Gottshall will share their powerful, heartfelt work in the Bixby Library’s Community Room!
Molly, a teacher from Addison, will read from her debut collection “Everything Alive”—an exploration of trauma, disability, and healing. Her poems trace the ways we rebuild ourselves through language and love. A previous version of “Everything Alive” was a semi-finalist for the Black Lawrence Press St. Lawrence Book Award, and her work has appeared in Nashville Review, Indiana Review, Cider Press Review, and more.
Karin, an Associate Professor of English at Middlebury College, will share new and forthcoming poems. She the author of two award-winning collections, “Crocus” and “The River Won’t Hold You,” along with three limited-edition chapbooks. Her work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Colorado Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, and more.
