Home Card Program

Bixby is a member of the HomeCard library system, a cooperative lending program of 25 libraries in Northwestern Vermont.

With a library card issued from the Bixby, area residents can check-out materials from 25 libraries in Chittenden, Grand Isle, Franklin, Addison, and Lamoille counties. Known as HomeCard, this cooperative system provides users with expanded library hours and a large collection of books, magazines, videos, music, and recorded books available for check-out. Stop by the Circulation desk to get set up.

If you are a Bixby library card holder, ask at the Circulation desk to have your card made into a HomeCard that can be used at the participating libraries below. If you check out books from a HomeCard library, you must return the items to that library.

If you have a library card at one of the participating HomeCard libraries, bring your card into the Bixby and we can set you up to check out items from the Bixby! Homecard accounts are not allowed to utilize the Bixby InterLibrary Loan Service, or check out our Museum/Park Passes.
