As you eye your gardens and turn your attention to your indoor plants, The Friends of the Bixby warmly invite you to participate in the upcoming plant sale by donating plants, flowers, seeds and produce. Proceeds from the sale will support programs for the Bixby Library in Vergennes.

Donation day: Friday, September 24, 2021, 2 to 5 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Bixby Library.

Donation ideas: Divisions of your outdoor plants. Rooted cuttings of your indoor plants – perhaps even in lovely planters that need a new home. Dried flower seeds for planting next spring. Home-grown vegetables or home-raised eggs.

Sale day: Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 9 to 12 (simultaneous with the Friends’ book sale).

Please survey your plantings outside and inside too and consider getting started now. It’s a perfect time and a simple way to beautify our neighborhoods and homes and support the cause of literacy. In any event, please come to the sale!
