With more time at home, have you thought you would like to create a website to share your passions, talents, interests or advice with the world? Dave Sullivan is still available for technical help, although he can not currently meet patrons in person. Feel free to contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org and he would be happy to get you started or help you polish off a project that you have underway.
DigitalLearn.org is a collection of self-directed tutorials for end-users to increase their digital literacy. Feedback from public library staff directed Public Library Association to develop courses on the most basic skills, such as using a computer, navigating a web site, and searching. Modules are video-based with narration, 6 to 22 minutes long, and help learners practice skills like using a mouse and setting up passwords. Nearly all modules are available in Spanish as well as English.
