Adult Programs
Bixby Book Club
The Bixby Book Club meets at the library in the Vermont room every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm. Please check the library calendar for details about upcoming book discussions. Please contact Martha at Martha.Sanborn@bixbylibrary.org for more information about joining the book club.
- Looking for some potential titles to read? There are book sets listed on the Green Mountain Library Consortium Kit Keeper page. You can browse the entire collection, or search the titles using various filters. Each title is displayed with information such as the book synopsis and # of copies in the kit.
- In order to reserve a kit from this collection, please call the library. Please have three choices in case a kit is not available for the date you want. We will find out when your desired title is available, or what titles are available during the desired time period. You can reserve up to a year in advance!
- Please note that kits from this collection that are owned by other libraries may already be on loan, but if they are available, they must be reserved at least two weeks in advance to allow for courier delivery and library schedules.
Third Thursdays
The Bixby Library regularly offers programs on the Third Thursday of the month on topics related to arts and culture, local history, local authors, the environment, and more. Check our Event Calendar to see what’s upcoming.
Monthly Game Night
The library hosts a monthly game night on the third Tuesday of each month. Bring a game from home or play one from the Library of Things collection. We welcome all ages and experience levels!
