July 30 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
July 30th @ 8:30 – 10:00pm
Join the Bixby Library for our second free film of the summer and enjoy a magical family classic, How to Train Your Dragon. A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.
Thank you to the Friends of the Bixby Library who funded the purchase of the screen that made these outdoor movies possible and to Ed Place, our Trustee who helped plan, test, set up, and takedown last summer’s events.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, takeout from local restaurants or picnic dinners, and bug spray to view the movie from our parking lot. Please do not park in the Bixby parking lot (this is where we’ll be showing the movie). Instead, parking is available at the bank next door and on Main Street. Walking or biking is strongly encouraged.
Rain Date is Saturday, July 31st at 8:30pm.
August’s film is another great family classic, 1996’s comedy Matilda.
