Here we go again: another great summer of movies at the Bixby Library!

To start the summer, we’ll be bringing back a town favorite and showing the sequel to the 2008 ABBA-inspired musical Mamma Mia!, 2018’s smash hit Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again. Set five years after the original film, this film follows Sophie as she learns about her mom Donna’s younger years and Sophie realizes just how much like her mother she is.

Thank you to the Friends of the Bixby Library who funded the purchase of the screen that made these outdoor movies possible and to Ed Place, our Trustee who helped plan, test, set up, and takedown last summer’s events.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, takeout from local restaurants or picnic dinners, and bug spray to view the movie from our parking lot. Please do not park in the Bixby parking lot (this is where we’ll be showing the movie). Instead, parking is available at the bank next door and on Main Street. Walking or biking is strongly encouraged. 

Rain Date is Saturday, June 26th at 8:30pm.

July’s showing will be the family favorite How to Train Your Dragon released in 2010 and is rated PG.
