Friday Night Outdoor Movie Showing – Mamma Mia!

Friday, August 28th, 7:30 (or Sunset) – 9pm
We will be showing Mama Mia!, rated PG and released in 2008. A bride-to-be in Greece tries to solve the mystery of her paternity by reading the diary of her mother. Based on the ABBA-inspired stage musical.
Thank you to the Friends of the Bixby Library who funded the purchase of the screen that made these outdoor movies possible and to Ed Place, our Trustee who helped plan, test, set up and take down last month’s event. Last movie’s attendee Erin Roche said: “Great weather, a great location and a great movie – and even better, we had an evening out surrounded by people (safely distanced and masked)” Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, takeout from local restaurants or picnic dinners and bug spray to view the movie from our parking lot.
Wear your masks and keep 6ft between your group and other movie goers. Do not park in the parking lot. Please park at the bank lot, on Main street or walk over.

September’s showing will be the original Men in Black released in 1997 and rated PG-13. Save the date: 9/25.
